Festive Rituals

As the year draws to a close, Within Spa offers two festive rituals made for slowing down. Warm infrared light, unhurried massage and skin left glowing are paired with seasonal scents, something sweet and a small gift to take home. Each ritual can be enjoyed alone or shared with someone close.

Available individually or for two guests, subject to availability. If a shared room is unavailable, treatments will be scheduled consecutively. Please advise us of any allergies or sensitivities, particularly to honey, cinnamon or fragrance.

The Christmas Golden Glow Ritual

A warming ritual scented with golden honey, aromatic cinnamon and rich chocolate. The skin is first polished and wrapped in nourishing warmth. A massage with melted candle oil follows, and the ritual closes with a facial that restores the skin's natural radiance.

Milestone & Serenity Ritual

A festive journey for stillness and time well spent, whether on your own or side by side with someone special. Gentle infrared warmth prepares the body for a full-body massage, followed by a facial that leaves the skin nourished and refreshed. All of it takes place in a softly lit festive setting.

The founder

Mark Weingard

Mark Weingard is Founder of Within, the health and longevity destination at Iniala Valletta. Within brings the deeply personal standard of Iniala hospitality into wellbeing, combining advanced diagnostics, recovery and clinical expertise with exceptional care and attention to detail.

Mark is Founder and Chief Curator of Iniala Group. He created Iniala Beach House in Thailand, followed by Iniala Valletta, a Forbes Five-Star hotel overlooking Malta's Grand Harbour and home to the two-Michelin-starred ION Harbour by Simon Rogan. Both hotels hold two Michelin Keys and share a simple belief: true luxury should be personal, generous and rooted in its community.

That belief — that hospitality should be generous and rooted in its community — has shaped Mark's philanthropy for more than two decades. He founded the Inspirasia Foundation, and he and his companies have given more than $15 million to charitable causes. He co-founded the Academy of Givers to champion philanthropy and community action in Malta, and is now co-founding PACT (Positive Action Community Tourism), bringing Valletta's hospitality community, residents, cultural institutions and NGOs together so that tourism creates a positive legacy for the city. Before hospitality, Mark built his career in financial technology, culminating in a major business exit in 2008.
